Vienna, VA – September 11, 2020 – AAC today announced that it has been appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration for both Development & Services. The appraisal was performed by Concept Quality Assurance Labs. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At the "defined" level, processes are well characterized and understood and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods.
“This is a major milestone for AAC”, said President Mark Birch. “We’ve been working hard for the past year-plus to become appraised at maturity level 3 for both development and services. Our team, led by our VP of Information Systems Ugur Koser, did an outstanding job in preparing for the appraisal and we now have CMMI to add to our already existing ISO qualifications.”
