Vienna, VA. AAC Inc. (AAC) announced it has been awarded the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Technology Operations (GTO) task order under the GSA Alliant Small Business Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The task order is performance-based for a term of five years, with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods at an estimated value of $237 million.
GTO is the replacement for GSA’s current contract, the GSA Infrastructure Technology Global Operations (GITGO) contract, which successfully combined over 40 separate contracts into one and provided significant cost savings.
"AAC is incredibly proud and excited to partner with GSA for GTO services” said Jim Francis, AAC’s President and CEO. “Along with our team members (Intelligent Decisions, Dell Federal Services, Triad Technology Partners, Blackbox Network Services, CoreSphere, and Insight Systems) we’re confident that we can successfully support GSA by providing the best and most effective enterprise IT services and solutions.”
GSA’s estimated 17,000 employees and contractors worldwide will be supported by GTO to include service desk operations, support for computer equipment such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and servers. GTO will also support GSA's network infrastructure and remote technologies.
